Pop-Up Clinics

The purpose of these pop-up clinics are to provide the pets of the homeless, registered with the Fred Victor Bethlehem United Shelter access to preventative health care. This includes physical examinations and core vaccines. Where the veterinarian finds necessary, blood work and fine needle aspirates can be performed, and Idexx Laboratories graciously assists in our requisitions. Spays and Neuters are typically organized with the Toronto Animal Services and SNYP (Spay, neuter your pets) Truck. Non-elective surgeries and illnesses are considered on a case to case basis. As you can imagine, management of chronic illness in a vulnerable population as such can be very difficult to manage, and fund. In addition to all of this, we will have food and medication sponsors, vaccine sponsors, lab sponsors. AND - we have a dentist coming along for the people! An extra bonus is the presence of a pet groomer as well - we are in discovery of the services that can be provided in these circumstances.
